So when i want to mount it i type "mount c /Users/LSL7"Īnd i had to edit the "Resource.cfg" in the larry folder and change the path which Larry was installed in windows (eg. Oh and i have placed the Larry folder into "/Users/LSL7/" Now this problem has nothing to do with inserting the CD, since on the PC and Virtual PC it ran without requiring the PC. So then i got DosBox 0.63, since it claimed on the website that Larry 7 was supported! So when i run it, it keeps crashing and it says:ĭOS/4GW Professional Error (2001): exception 0Bh (segment not present) at 70:00004502" (and it gives a bunch of codes after that) The game ran but extremely slow and the sound was lagging like crazy!
So here's the thing, i Virtual PC 6.1 and installed WinXP, and ran Larry 7. Execute the Loader to play the game without the CD.Ok i have been looking up and down for Leisure Suit Larry 7 - Love for Sail! I finally got my hands on the PC version, but im trying to run it on my iBook.
Extract the appropriate LARRY.EXE Loader from the File Archive to the game directory. Leisure Suit Larry - Gold Collection v1.0 No-CD Loader ALL available trainers are for Single Player/Offline use ONLY! Don't try to use them online else your account can/will be banned/closed!. If you have problems using a trainer in combination with Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 10 then make sure to run the trainer with Administrator rights and when needed in Windows XP or Windows 98 compatibility mode!. In ALL cases this is a FALSE ALARM as NONE of the Game Trainers GCW contain known malicious code! More info in the PC Games FAQ! Some Game Trainers are sometimes reported to be a Virus or Trojan, the most common is a keylogger called HotKeysHook or the file has been packed/protected with VMProtect or Themida and is recognized as Win32/Packed.VMProtect or Win32/Packed.Themida. In most cases using a No-CD or Fixed EXE will solve this problem! Some original games do not work when a certain application has been installed, like DAEMON Tools. When using Fixed Files make sure to use a Firewall which controls outgoing traffic, as some games call back to report the use of these modified files!. When this happens use the original EXE to play online, else you could find yourself banned from the game! 
Some No-CD/Fixed EXE files work fine in Single Player mode but are detected to be modified when trying to play online.
